The Sheila Poole Race for the 1761 Cup will be held at
Killam Brother's Wharf, Yarmouth, on Saturday, July 17th, 2010. The
Sheila Poole Race is a 10 km race over a certified course and is
registered with Run
Nova Scotia. The race is part of the annual SeaFest Celebrations.
A post race celebration will be held at the
gazebo on Killam Brother's Wharf. Refreshments, sponsored by Tim
Horton's, will be provided for runners, accompanying families and event
volunteers. Race awards will be given out in accordance
to the race's categorical breakdown.
Washroom and shower facilities will be
provided by the YMCA of Yarmouth (275 Main Street, Yarmouth) and Killam
Brother's Wharf.
The event mascot is "YARKEY" and
can be seen here to the right.
